About Cowen Consulting & Wellness

Cowen Consulting & Wellness, LLC is based in Gillette, Wyoming and supports youth, families, and agencies across Campbell County and the state. With 20 years of experience in the child-welfare and behavioral-health fields, we focus on practical tools that help families navigate complex systems and strengthen emotional resilience.

Founder Jena Cowen has worked across multiple levels of care, including Psychiatric Residential Treatment Centers, Residential Treatment Centers, Group Home, crisis settings, community-based programs, and state-level assessments. She currently serves as a certified High Fidelity Wraparound (HFWA) coach under Wyoming’s Children’s Mental Health Waiver and as a certified CASII evaluator.

Cowen Consulting & Wellness exists to bridge gaps, simplify processes, and provide families and agencies with support that fits real Wyoming life.

Current Services

CASII Assessments

State-certified assessments used to help determine service level needs for youth.

Cowen Consulting & Wellness provides CASII assessments in partnership with Wyoming’s Children’s Mental Health Waiver and related programs.

High Fidelity Wraparound Coaching

Strength-based planning and support for caregivers and youth through the High Fidelity Wraparound (HFWA) model.

Services focus on family voice and choice, collaborative problem-solving, and bringing teams together around what matters most to the youth and caregivers.

Behavioral Health & System-of-Care Consulting

Consulting and training for agencies and programs in:

• youth and family engagement
• strengths-based, family-led planning
• crisis prevention and crisis planning
• effective coordination across systems of care


Cowen Consulting & Wellness partners with teams to make services more effective, collaborative, and sustainable utilizing the High Fidelity Wraparound Process (evidence based practice)

Emotional Wellness & Frequency-Aligned Support

In addition to assessments, coaching, and consulting, Cowen Consulting & Wellness offers education on tools that support emotional balance and nervous-system regulation.
This includes:

• education on frequency-aligned wellness resources
• red-light and trace mineral support education
• EMF-reduction and protection tools
• simple nervous-system and regulation strategies for daily life

These offerings are educational in nature and are designed to complement, not replace, existing supports. No medical or therapeutic services are provided.

Coming Soon: Expanded Office Services

Cowen Consulting & Wellness, LLC is in the process of expanding to a dedicated office location in Campbell County that will offer additional emotional-wellness and nervous-system support options.

Planned services include:
• Wellness Based Neurofeedback
• HRV tracking to show pre- and post-session shifts
• flexible scheduling, eventually including early morning and evening appointments
• options for family-friendly rental units for continued nervous-system support at home

The long-term vision is to create access options that better match Wyoming’s unique workforce and culture, including shift workers, labor crews, and first responders.
